Clay: A Festival of Ceramics
September 25th & 26th
1. a worker in a skilled trade, especially one that involves making things by hand.
- (of food or drink) made in a traditional or non-mechanized way using high-quality ingredients.
with some of the finest artists and makers from across the South West.
Our fabulous Winter show - Artisan Market - returns to Barnstaple for a 2nd year and it's going to be a corker!
It will be our BIGGEST show ever with 100 contemporary artists and makers gathering for one day to showcase and sell their work.
It's your chance to meet your favourite maker in person, talk to them about their creative inspiration and buy from them direct. There is no better retail therapy than buying directly from an artist you admire.
And with the selection of exhibitors we have this year you'll discover fabulous new artists to fall in love with.
Hand picked for your delight we'll have jewellery, ceramics, prints, fine art, illustrations, leatherwork, wood, textiles, embroidery, fibre art, craft kits, upcycled products, handmade candles, glass, headdresses and handmade hats.
With Christmas round the corner let's say a big fat NO to mass produced and, instead, support local and handmade.
As a special thank you for supporting our artists and makers we'll gift wrap all purchases made on the day completely free of charge.
PLUS we'll have live music from an incredibly talented young artist I discovered busking on the streets of North Devon.
AND tasty food and cake.
